I took an existing CFS1 panel file, deleted all the gauges and installed new gauges from the gauge list.
Only about half the new ones are functional. What must I do to get the remainder to work properly? I tried the help section of CFGEDIT, but could find no answer...

It's difficult to help without more specific information. I assume this is for CFS1. I don't know how much experience you have with panels. Providing you configured it properly it might depend on the gauges you're using & which aircraft the new panel is for. Some gauges rely on AIR file entries to work properly.

Thanks for the reply.......
Panel is for the B-25, a downloaded Aircraft, CFS1.
Working with the panel that was included with the file.
Deleted all existing gauges and replaced them with
ones in the gauge listing. All the gauges show up in
the text file, but 3 do not function.

zcessna_182.switches
zmillersong
bell_206b.clock

I deleted, and re-installed these 3, but they
still do not function.

OK. Those look like mouseable gauges or switches. Not too many will function on a 3d main panel like the CFS1 defaults. You can change it to the FS98-style 2D panel by editing Panel.cfg in Notepad. If you see this line under [Window00]
render_3d_window=1
change the value to 0.

2D panels are not really suitable for CFS. The best way to fix it would be to use proper 3d mouseable gauges which might not be possible. The practical alternative would be to add the existing gauges to a new pop-up window like the default engine controls.
