While I was drawing earlier, I thought I'd try designing my own plane.  Then, I decided I'd try to make it in FS.  Cheesy  So I managed to work out a 3-view.  (A little out of scale, but it'll help)  Grin  Here's what I came up with:

...

I don't think it would fly in real life though, but this is FS.  8)

About the cross-sections and dimensions, um, that's, uh, classified..  Roll Eyes Grin  I'm mostly doing this for the looks, so I want to get the look I like first.  I'm not sure if I should keep it like that or redo some parts.

It does look a bit like the cancelled attack plane project for the US Navy ...

Apart from looking like a nice runabout, it looks like it could be "stretched" to a 4-place sport with two small jets.

I'd leave the main control surfaces to be elevons and let the horizontal stabilizer as a place for possible sundry elint receivers/transmitters....

The design also lends itself to inline "bicycle" gear, with small stablizing outriggers...

Yeah, I was thinking about doing just that!   Grin  (although I didn't know they were called elevons; kinda fun to say).  I might take the horizontal stabilizer out completely, but I gotta have my verticals.  Smiley

I've started working on it, but I don't model too much, so I'm not sure how well it will turn out.  I guess we'll just have to wait and see.  Wink
