I've just had to replace the .air file for the default 747-400 from the cd as I inadvertently corrupted it. I've now found that the instrument panel is updating itself very slowly. Could somebody please remind me how to fix this?   ???

Honey!? Did you see where I put the keys for the 747????????

From a combination of original tips by Dieter de Wit and Antonio Arreghini:

Edit your panel.cfg and DELETE (or put into comment as I did) the following line: (it's repeated 3 times in this panel.cfg)

update_rate=6

The higher the number the longer the delay.

no problem Smiley.

If you have a hunt round, there are also some replacement gauges for the default versions which are a little slow.
