To all,
over on the AvHistory/Airfile board we get this small trickle of people who ask us this question. There was someone there today asking this. When my ... is in ground idle it doesn't move on the runway. To taxi I have to move the throttle a long way forward. In RL you are touching the brakes a lot in ground idle.

We tell them the coefficient of rolling friction in the scenery files is about two times too high for a hard runway. This is not a very helpful answer.

What is the latest dope on ground friction in FS2K2? Who are the gurus who know all about patching the problem and where can they be contacted? Is there a FAQ on this somewhere that can fix the problem?
