Where is the FS2002 Root Directory? (It's probably sitting right in front of me. I need to place a file there) Thanks   ???

It depends on where you install it.

By default, it's installed into 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002'

By default, it installs in:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002

If it's not there go to Start Menu/Find/Files or Folders and look for file named Fs2002.exe.  Whatever directory that is in is your root.
