It was my 79th Birthday on Saturday, the 2nd March, for all you miserable buggers who managed to forget it...again...
...!
I had a wonderful time with lots of goodies to eat and drink...
....
..and guess what...
....>>>
Sharon Stone popped in with a bottle of New Zealand's finest red wine, and I made us both a fantastic candle-lit Dinner, with Roast New Zealand Lamb Chops and all the trimmings!....
....!
Unfortunately, later in the evening, she had to rush off back to Hollywood to make another film....
...
Bugger...
...still...there's always my next birthday!...
...!
Paul...I like Birthdays!...
...!
P.S...fortunately, I have a vivid imagination!...

Happy Birthday (belated) Paul and many Happy Returns...
Yesterday the old girl and I were at the bugsmasher field for almost a hour.
The club executive had been to the local authorities about a By-Law-Officer who was causing some grief over nothing.
Guaranteed he won't be back...
There were three visiting Cessna 150s on the snow packed grass and the one Cessna had been modified extensively with a Glass Cockpit, more powerful engine and fiber glass skis which I missed getting a look at...
The aircraft looked pretty spiffy in her new red and white livery.
The first thing I thought of was your favourite bugsmasher...
The other two Cessna Aircraft were stock and the one I took an interest in through the club house window was the straight back Cessna without a rear window.
It just looked good to me and brought back some memories...
There were several other visiting aircraft, one a Navion, very very nice and updated also.
A Cessna 180 also modified and updated was also in with wheel/skis.
We did have another appointment with a family member in the opposite direction of the flying club from our home so off we went.
It don't figure Paul, there are days we sit there chewing the rag for hours and nothing drops in.
The day we have a hundred things to do some great looking aircraft drop in...
Glad you had a Great Birthday and all the best with many many more Birthdays to come...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Many thanks, Doug...
...!
Apart from my Auster Aiglet spotter plane flights, for the British Army, in the 1950's, it wasn't until the early 2,000's when I got the chance again to take a few flights (£100 per hour) in the local Clubs pretty little Cessna 150's (Rolls-Royce Continental), and 152's ( Avco Lycoming), and quickly realised just how friendly they are to novice Pilots!
The majority of my flight explorations in my FS 2004 are carried out in my little Cessna 150 Aerobats...tricycle, tail-dragger, and floats!
Excellent aircraft for the job!
...and considerably modified by myself!..
Paul...Have 150, will travel!...

I'm looking at the photo of Sharon, above, and I doubt that she would be dressed/undressed quite like that, knocking on my front-door with my Birthday Present, with some of your bloody snow drifting around here, Adam!

Happy birthday Paul! Not many of us 'level up' to level 79, which is where you can buy the Sharon Stone fantasy coin.

No, you old fool... she'd be wrapped in furs (that some other poor bastard paid for), comfy enough but in need of a hot toddy.
Well, maybe next year...
