Hi Guys,
What sort of system would I need to run Airbus X extended edition, so it runs smoothly.
I hear it is hard on frame rates, I dont think my system is up to it. I have the following-

Dual Core Processor 2.3ghz
4g Ram
Graphic card is intergrated
windows 7
Any views on this.

Thanks

Together with FSX, that's what I would call;.... "Highly optimistic!"... Shocked... Shocked...!

Paul.

Yeah, I think I would need a better system than the recommended one, because I'm finding hard to run just Airbus X (not extended) on my system.
Listening to other people it sounds like an i7 CPU and a 1 Gb graphic card is the only way, if i could get away with less i would, but i don't know weather thats right or wrong.

Looking at my present system in my signature, like you, I know that a Computer upgrade capable of running FSX to my satisfaction would cost much more money than I am prepared to pay, which ensures that I only use my trusty FS 2004 every day. (It works a treat with my present hardware).
FSX, with its settings wound down, for me, is always a bitter disappointment.

Paul...FS 2004 and FSX... Cool...!

P.S...I suspect that a i5 Processor would be quite suitable for you, (together with a plug-in graphics card), and much cheaper than the i7...

Yeah, I'll need to look more into it.
Thanks for your help, I'll let you know how I get on with that.
