help anybody something has gone wrong with my fsx, the window showing atc choices and replies doesnt have anywords just lines or nothing and my multiplayer doesnt work please help i am new to this and already have fallen in love with the game also i would be so grateful for any help please Cry

The only thing I can recommend for the ATC issue is a reinstall. The FSX multiplayer is down permanently because it's so old. There are some direct connect servers out there.

I would try the Repair option on FSX that is offered first. If that doesn't work then a uninstall/reinstall by the book installation.
To get the Repair option, a way is to go into the Control Panel, depending on what version Windows you are running locate the Add and Remove programs, and treat as a Remove, the window will open and ask Repair or Uninstall.

I would say another way is to put your FSX disc in and you could also be prompted to do the Repair that way as well.

FSX has been around for a few years, and is a great program, all the advice and forums dealing with FSX keeps this program in a constant revitalization for those that choose to keep up with the latest and greatest discovers. This to me actually keeps the program New.

Muliplayer Support for FSX was not done away with because it was old. That's a whole other story one that I will not comment about here in this forum. I will say that opinions by others had a lot to do with it

There are many FSHost servers out there that accomodate the multiplayer need now, you will need the chocolate client software in most cases to utilize the FSHost servers that were provided by many sites now.

I don't think much of a man that doesn't learn something new everyday.

Try putting in Disc 1 and click REPAIR when prompted. It will ask for Disc 2 then it will finish. It's important to restart after, as to avoid a fatal error. As far as multi-player, it took me MONTHS to figure this out! I'll save you some time, please see this : fsxbeyondgamespy.com It will explain everything. Hope this helps Smiley

I remember that I removed some FONTs and the same thing happend.Have you removed any Fonts lately.not sure about Multiplay.

cheers for all the help guys and will test out those multiplayer soloutions and will maybe seeyou on their also cannot be bothered with the ATC and havent removed any fonts that i am aware off just added aircraft and scenery like the amazing barra scenery and sorry to any admin if i am not allowed to promote a package im new also its quite good cheers and bye Tongue
