Haven't done any SAR in a while so I decided while I had time today to save some virtual lives
Taking the weight of the first soul
Second soul almost on board
ARFF meeting the chopper at Bowerman to take them to the hospital
Shut down and waiting for the next call
Thanks for looking

The title isn't very fitting. "So that others may live" is the motto of USAF PJs. Unless I'm missing something...

PJs use "that others may live" and the USCG (and Navy I think) rescue swimmers kind of took that and ran with it as "so others may live" as an unofficial motto. I guess it's a war of semantics, but from my understanding yes, the PJ's created the saying originally.

Great set, Mfaulisi.....the second one is outstanding
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Ah, ok. I haven't worked around Navy/ USCG as much as the USAF. Wonderful shots, though.

I can tell you as a USCG Pilot, our PJ's don't use that motto. The USN PJ's do as does the USMC and USAF. The USCG motto Sempar Paratus Always Ready is our universal motto thru out the whole USCG.
Your pics are excellent for SAR Fishing as we call it
