YES!!!! This was my mothers favorite plane to fly on. It had 4 engines and 3 tails!!!! if one fell off she was still ok!!!. Honestly yes I love this old bird. Flew on it many times on the EASTERN AIRLINES SHUTTLE between DCA-LGA-BOS during the late 50s and early to mid 60s. My dad worked for EASTERN and I remember waiting for 11 planes to come and go before we got on one. They were all CONNIES. Had to ride standby cause we were employees. Love the TWA restoration of their 1049G. Save a Connie was and is a great project. Thanks for a great post.
