The scene which "greeted?" me this morning when I came downstairs...>>>
Photographed through my living room window, (too bloody cold to go outside to take the shot), and the misty effect on the glass was caused by my heavy breathing trying to keep warm inside!
For all you Floridans and Texicans, etc, who would love to see some snow, I am freighting the bloody stuff over to you via FEDEX...
...and you can keep the bloody stuff...
...!
I just hope Ive got enough goodies to eat and drink in my larder, 'cos I wont be going shopping on my motor-bike for a while...

Shoooot!.. 220 schools closed in your neck of the woods Paul. that looks like about what
3 or 4 inches. when I was going to school here in pennsylvainia, there had to be at least a foot on the ground before they would even consider closing for the day.
WE GOT RIPPED OFF MAN! I KNEW IT!
P.S. I like the picture.

Good morning Paul...
We had snow for Christmas Day and now all we see is green grass.
The river is open again but still lots of ice.
Not sure how much snow there is north of us as we are right on Lake Ontario.
Farmers in this area want snow and lots of it so there will not be a shortage of well water.
Last year was a dry summer, no rain to speak of and no snow last winter.
Right now it is minus 17 Celsius without the wind chill.
On our way out so the old girl can get her hair done...
and then we have a doctor's appointment.
Will make our way up to the flying club by 11:00am to chew the rag and listen to the old girl tell Tall Tales...
Stay warm and have a great day...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

I feel for ya Foz. As for me, I miss the snow. Had reasonable prospects of seeing some flakes last night but it only snowed north of me. The only flake I saw was staring back at me from the looking glass. I had to suffer 70+ degrees (f) a couple of days last week and I thought of ya. Stay warm Fozzer, and continue your regimen of excellent food and drink.

It's always nice to know that Britons call us "Texicans." You crossed a line there.
If the engine doesn't start, check the master switch. True story.

He called me a "Floridan", which I suppose is better than what the rest of the US calls us - Floridiots.

Paul,
Feel for you brother. It was 60* in Denver today. Although we went 5 days last week it never got above freezing. I didn't leave my house for 3 days

Weather over in Ireland:
Cloudy inbetween the showers.
Tempretures ranging from 2 to 7 degrees celcius.
Pretty much sums up the entire year.
