Well that is not good!
Our tulips are still staying in the dirt thankfully. Us west Michiganders (Holland, MI) take our tulips VERY seriously:

..remember that you are closer to the Equator, (the warm bit), than we are in England, Matt... Wink...!

I need to coppice all my trees and bushes*, front and back garden, before they start to leaf in the early Spring, (which would entail getting rid of more foliage to the Council Tip).!

Forsythia is the first Shrub to flower in my garden, (yellow flowers), and that is a sure sign of Spring..(and warmth for me)... Cheesy...!

12*C in my back garden at mid-day today.

Paul.... Smiley...!

*...Ladies take note, when it comes to the importance of coppicing bushes..!... Wink... Wink...!

Oddly enough most flowers will start coming in the next few weeks over here in Ireland since it barely ever freezes. Wink
That's why palm trees grow quite well here. Wink

I always thought it would be nice to visit an English sea-side town and be surrounded by Palm Trees...

It would fool me into thinking I was in Los Angeles or Florida, basking in warm sunshine!

Maybe there are a few places?...>>> Costa Del Palm Trees

Paul...Wish you were here... Smiley...!

And us Yoopers take our winters very seriously, I heard it was 40 and raining in Munising last week!!  That's unheard of on the Lake Superior shoreline in January.  Guess this is what happens when I move south...
