I am wondering if I can use my headset for the atc audio and other communication stuff and my speakers for background noises and such. Is it possible? And how can it be configured?

Yes you can as long as you have seperate sound devices, one for your headset and another for your speakers.

You configure it in FSX Settings-Sound.

what do you mean by different sound devices? two sound cards? I have a 5.1 channel motherboard and I connected them to two or the sockets, will this work?

EDIT: I managed to make it work now Smiley
