Last night I was flying a Lockheed Constellation from Tampa to Daytona. My flight level was 180.
I was tuned to Jacksonville center. There was a number of AI flying last night and I was listening to most of the transmissions. Out of the blue came ATC saying; 0, please expedite your climb to flight level 770. I wasn't sure I heard right and just let it slide. Well a minute later, I hear the same message again. This time I open the message window and sure enough, there it was in writing Shocked

I have never noticed this before. Don't know what plane it might be. Maybe a MiG-29 that flys around via GA Traffic, but I have never known it to be that high before nor have I ever noticed the call sign 0 before.
Strange, to say the least Undecided

Yeah, it was kinda cool.
I got to wondering if maybe there is some easter egg around Cape Canaveral, maybe? If so, I missed 'seeing' it Cry There is a mission where you watch the space shuttle land. And a UFO mission, but what happened the other night was not a mission, just a flight I setup and flew.

Anyway, I wish I knew what plane it was that can reach that altitude. A MiG-29 can't get to 60,000ft, I don't think. None of my other AI planes that use GA Traffic could get anywhere near that high either, nor any of the FSX/Acceleration planes.

Cool. When I get the time I'll post a few pics of a thing or two I've managed to get screenshots of.  My favorite is a falling tractor-trailer pointing nose-down about 3000agl above Las Vegas.

Perhaps a SR71 or a U2 "science package" en route from NASA CC?   Cheesy
