This morning I did something terribly sensible. I put on my dark grey polo shirt. Why was this clever you ask? Well I was on-site and setting up computers and printers on what was effectively a VERY posh building site. I got back to the office not looking too much like the fluff and dust monster that I normally do after such site visits
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

It is amazing how a little spit and polish earns you points with clients. If I show up at work on a Monday morning unshaven and a bit ragged I can sense the difference.
Flying with twins is a lot of fun..

Don Johnson started the worst fashion trend
ever
.
He made it acceptable to show up at work with a 1-3 day unshaven face.
I went to a (legal proceeding) mediation conference a couple of weeks ago. My lawyer showed up with a couple of days of beard growth.
I thought it was pretty unprofessional and I don't know if he's done this in other cases but both of us treated the mediation conference as a joke. I'm a lawyer and he's a friend who wasn't charging me anything and we just wanted to beat the other guy into a favorable settlement (for me), which we did, so I probably could have showed up in my trademark shorts and polo shirt.
Shave, butthead!
A bad day at golf is better than a good day at work.

Well, look at the bright side; you probably set the standard for British dust bunnies. You know, the ole 007 of dust bunnies....
"I have a place where dreams are born, And time is never planned. It’s not on any chart, You must find it with your heart."
Albert Einstein - "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe."
Martin Luther King Jr. - “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - “There is nothing worse than aggressive stupidity.”
Mark Twain - “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”
