Just finished and turned in a 28 page report on flight performance calculations on the U-2S Dragon Lady using only some dimensional data, engine specs, and 2 or 3 weights.

It took over 20hrs and 3 all nighters in a row of MATLAB programming to get it all working  Roll Eyes

Time for some TrackIR therapy followed by lots of sleep  Cheesy

Ahh... MATLAB... The single most useless piece of software (in terms of ease-of-use) on the university computers  Grin

I have a fun 5000 word report on material selection for high pressure turbine blades due in for January 7th. I have... Well, I've read the cover sheet so far  Tongue

MATLAB is pretty user friendly compared to something like Maple...now Maple can burn in hell. Grin

MAAAAAAAAATRRRRAAAAAAABBBBBB!

Sorry, injoke at the expense of our lecturer last year... Tongue

So glad I chose a project with minimal MATLAB in it. Instead working in a simulator package called flightLAB which is almost as bad Tongue

Ugh, I hate matlab...it doesn't help that the guy that was supposed to teach it to us was completely useless.  I'd have to completely relearn it if I had to use it again.

My MATLAB "course" was 4 weeks in the middle of the semester. The lectures were totally useless and the labs were a joke. I learned it more or less on my own. For the final, I showed up an hour and a half late and still finished it before everyone else and aced it  Grin Grin Grin Grin

We use a lot of MATLAB voluntarily here. I love it, for me my programs of hate are RoMax (gear/transmission design), LTSpice, and Maple.
