Is there a way to stop being told to go around whilst on short final? I have traffic set pretty high but almsot every time I'm on short final I get told to go around even though I have been given clearance to land.

Make sure that you didn't cut in front of anyone, or if he cleared the plane on the runway to take off

Mostly when you get a go-around is because of the "nuthead" in front of you didn't leave the runway fast enough!
Try to get a little more distance and slow down a bit Cool

My problem arises mostly when I fly small GA Aircraft on final, and when given clearance to land, it takes me so long to get there, that
the aircraft at the airfield are already stacking up, ready to take off....
..so I am told to "go around" to speed up the departures!

(...or; go away!...and land somewhere else!)... Grin...!

Try landing a Cosmos Flexwing at Los Angeles Airport (KLAX) during a busy period!... Shocked...!

Paul...going around....again!... Grin...!

I think my landing speed might be the problem, I'll try coming in slower and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the replies!
