Please don't ask how I came across this.... Grin Websites from yesteryear that are still online a long time after the fact....

Seems that Bob Dole has not lost his optimism, his 1996 website is still up and running.

And for all those Juice fans, OJ's 1995 trial website is still informing us of the court proceedings as they happened Grin

On a serious note, how long do site stay alive for??

How long?....I would imagine that all these Sites have still to be paid for, to keep them active!
That's a lot of money for some obsolete information!

Hi!

Thanks for the post.  That is quite cool info, plus I guess a lot of these old websites might now be in the Internet archive?  I'm pretty sure internet archive wasn't around in 1995 though.

Actually I'm pretty sure I didn't even know what the internet was until maybe 1996, that was the first time I think I heard of email and used it.

The problem I have with the internet now is because of all this social c**p the World has come to the internet where before the internet used to be a place to escape from the World!  Now we have to go outside to the World to escape from the World which is now on the internet!  Is this making any sense?  Probably not I'll stop now!

Anyway thanks for the post.

P.
