Hello everyone, I've been a fan of the turbo commander aircraft from long time ago and i was surprised to find out a nice model here in simviation which is the file fsx rockwell veneaviones ac690; i have installed right away in my fsx simulator and it looks just great, but there is an altimeter missing gauge in both the vc and 2d panel.
Could some one help me out here? As I'm still grounded without being able to enjoy it properly. I believe that there is an error on the panel  configuration or the file came with a missing cab file.

Any suggestions?

Hi there. From a quick peek at the Panel.cfg file in Notepad the missing gauge is named Cessna208

[Window00]
file=AC690BPnl.bmp
size_mm=1024
window_size_ratio=1.000
position=7
visible=1
ident=MAIN_PANEL
window_size= 1.000, 1.000
window_pos= 0.000, 0.000

gauge00=ST_690!HW_Eng1_3way,  846,389,82,82
gauge01=ST_690!HW_Eng2_3way,  945,387,81,85
gauge02=ST_690!HW_HYD PRESS,  773,445,62,62
gauge03=ST_690!ST_Trimind,  773,520,63,60
gauge04=ST_690!Flapsind,  769,587,73,74
gauge05=ST_690!ST_Radar Altimeter,  439,581,79,79
gauge06=ST_690!VSI_6,  437,487,80,80
gauge07=Cessna208!Altimeter,  433,391,84,82
gauge08=ST_690!HW_Shadin,  542,490,86,86
gauge09=ST_dfd_adi84a!adi84a,  295,404,125,125
gauge10=ST_690!ST_Compass,  658,156,71,67

I assume this is the FS9 default Cessna208.gau
Easy enough to fix if you have FS9.

You can use the FSX default C208B altimeter instead.

First open the Panel folder of the default C208B. Find Cessna208B_XML.cab & paste a copy of it into your FSX\Gauges folder.

Now open Panel.cfg of the Rockwell Commander in Notepad. Change this line

gauge07=Cessna208!Altimeter,  433,391,84,82

to

gauge07=
Cessna208B_XML
!Altimeter,  433,391,84,82

Scroll down & find the gauge in the VC entries & change them in the same way. Note there are two VC altimeter entries.

Save changes when finished.
