Hi there

I found some time ago a fantastic twin engine aircraft AC560A. From outside, it has very nice textures. The 2D panel is high res and good readable. The VC however is unsharp.

...

Is there a panel guru here, who could explain me why the panel is not sharp and what is the difference to this payware panels like the BN-2 from flight1?
...
The main difference shurely is the BN-2 panel is 3D. But why do AC560 instruments look so bad in vc compared with the 2d panel?  Undecided

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

The difference is in how the aircraft was made. Your comparing an older model to a newer model and many improvements have been made over time. Make sure that in your settings/display/aircraft tab you have High- Resolution 3-D virtual cockpit is checked. This will clear things up a bit in your VC display.

Take Care,
Brett

Thanks for your replies. I know, the Cadilac is old, but the gauges were good. It's just the settings, that make the difference I think. If the gauges can look good in 2D, why do they not in the VC?

The High-Res 3D virtual c/p is checked btw. But I fear what MS looked High-Res back in 2006 wasn't the same we talk about today.  Grin
