Oh my grandparents live near MCAS Beaufort. They are absolutely dying to get the F-35B there.

I hear ya! I live, work, and drive by Eglin AFB every day. I've seen F-35As and Bs on a daily basis now. Just yesterday I had a 2 ship formation takeoff right over me! Sound was awesome. I believe Eglin now has about 20 F-35s in both A and B models, as well as 2 British aircraft. They are all mostly flying without chase planes now, which is nice!

And guys, I just read on Dino's blog that very soon he will stop sales of the F-35, let it sit for a little bit, then release it as freeware! So those that want it and cant quite spend the small amount to buy it.... wait it out and it will be free! Welllllll worth the wait, and wellllllll worth the purchase!

#1 is a winner Wink

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
