Good morning all... Smiley

Having a hard time to get any Microsoft FSX Flight Simulator trips in.
Not even a short one!

It is Autumn/Fall here in the colony and the old girl and I have been out to the old homestead almost every day.

Our oldest is out bashing about somewhere in his spam can C17, he thinks it's the cat's meow.
Humbug...
You can't put it on amphibious floats... Tongue

The evil kid has also put a large note in red printing which say's, "Dad...do not touch"... Huh     Shocked
He is building a motion simulator based on two or four engine radial or inline engine like the RR Merlin.

His children and I are not allowed near it, so it appears... Shocked

Well, I and several neighbours have managed to get in all the docks off the river and have helped replenish his wood pile by three or four more cords.

Cut and split, no not by me, we/he has great neighbours
and wonderful children who don't mind a little exercise and work after school.

I managed to roll the landing strips several times and they look good.
We have hooked up the snow grooming equipment for the strips and the equipment is now ready for winter.

Just watch...this will be a winter it won't snow.... Tongue     Grin

The old girl and our daugter-in-law have done a lot of canning and preserves but have a long way to go yet.

The fruit will be soaked for six weeks in brandy and rum as they make several different types of Christmas Cakes and this will start on the weekend.

I am almost finished here with what I am able to do and on the weekend and the first several weeks in November I will spend my time at several bugsmasher fields helping to get things ready for the winter and hope we get lots and lots of snow... Smiley

The old girl will have her hands full here until the end of November.

We have managed to get in a few hours of bugsmashing but I just don't know where the time goes.
They say time flies, I think it does as there does not seem like enough time in a day to get everything done I want to accomplish.

Wonder if it has something to do with old age?... Grin

I try to get on this forum at least once a day for a short time to admire the screenshots/pictures and leave a comment or two.

It won't be long before the snow flies and I shall be able to fire up FSX and post a screenshot or two on my hops so until then will look forward to everyone's posts.

Now, I need to go and tell the old girl it is not Halloween until next wednesday and she should take off that mask... Grin     Shocked       Lips Sealed

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

I thought this forum was missing something...so that is where you have been!

It is that time of the year again when everything seems to pick up. Thankfully my "old lady" (in her early twenties  Roll Eyes ) has made my senior year of college a wee bit easier.
