DISREGARD! In case anyone else has this problem - here is the deal. I thought it was probably something that I was doing or not doing and it was. I was selecting my settings once I was in the simulation. In other words - once I had the helicopter on the runway, I would go into the drop down menus at the top of the page and select views, then display, and tell it, ultra high.
When I went into the settings on the very first page that comes up when the simulations loads, it worked. I think it should have worked the other way, but it didn't for whatever reason
