Good morning all...
This is a long holiday weekend for us Canucks, Monday, October 8th is our Thanksgiving.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thanksgiving
A little rain this morning but the sky is clear and blue, very little wind so it is really CAVU (clear air, visibility unlimited).
We just got back from seeing some friends off to Florida in their boat which sleeps eight. They will go down the inland waterway and will be back here in May.
We will have wild turkey and cottage roll for Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings.
Going to have that at the old homestead...
Lots going on at the bugsmasher field so will be there several times this weekend. We hope to get into the air to see the Fall Colours/Autumn Tree Colours along with taking in a few local activities.
Hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving on Monday have a wonderful time...
Don't eat to much as I probably will....
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

In Germany on the 3rd of October, we have Tag der Deutschen Einheit (day of German unity). For that privilege, we pay 5,5% of our total income tax (I pay 40%) to the fund for the former East............but they do give us the day off
