.......that I didn't even know I had
When I re-installed Windows 7 a while back I accidentally installed the 32 bit version
I kept getting "Your computer has run out of available memory" errors even though I have 6GB of RAM. Well, as many of you know, a 32 bit operating system will only use a little over 3GB of RAM regardless of how much you actually have while a 64 bit operating system will allow the use of all 6GB of my available RAM
I had to install a fresh OS and reinstall everything, but no more out of memory errors.....and I think it looks a little sharper too
Here's some shots from my first point A to point B flight with a fresh reinstall of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, FSX Acceleration, REX Essentials, Shade, Tim's ENB Bloom, Carenado's C185 Bush, Orbx NRM, PNW and Israel's Farm.
Parked at KOMK planning my flight to WA56
We're (me and my dog, Peanut) outta here headed West. Yeah, I know I have my taxi light on instead of my landing light....I was lettin' Peanut work the lights
A view from the cockpit over the Cascades.
Descending near Concrete, WA.
Bringin' 'er back down to Earth......full flaps, Peanut!!
Parked.......havin' a wobbly pop with ol' Israel in the shop.
Thanks 4 looking

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
