The one thing I really like about the MS Flight Sims, over the years, as a keen Motorcyclist, and Sim Pilot, is the interest in learning all about the weather, that it brings!
I closely inspect my Weather Station in my garden at different times of the day to obtain local conditions; and also obtain weather details for the areas of the World, on the Web, that I am about to "fly" in, in the Sim!
Dialling up; "Real Weather", will often leave me "Grounded"..
..!
Even setting up; "Custom Weather" in the Sim, can result in surprises..
...!
A really fascinating subject:..."Weather"...
...!
Paul...Weathering the Storm!...Whether I like it..or not...

Last nights sudden local Pressure drop: 29.83 - 28.40 ins = Stormy!

So the question is, whether one should weather the real weather or whether one should make one's own weather. Either way, whether you pick real weather or whether you pick your own weather, weathering the weather is a daily part of life whether you like it or not...............

I reckon your trusty Missus did a quick spell check on that, before you posted it, Matt...

Have You Ever Seen the Rain? - Creedence Clearwater Revival

And let's not leave out the rainy, thundery start of the first Black Sabbath album, and also the phrase, "Heavy Metal thunder" from Steppenwolf's 'Born To Be Wild':
"I like smoke and lightning
Heavy metal thunder
Racin' with the wind
And the feelin' that I'm under"

Aah, I had such feelings of relief and anticipation when I first saw this title...
my travel has been beset by rainy conditions, even locking my bicycle's gears; a weather watch upon one's wrist with which one could not only know the time of day but select the weather one's engulfed in; enveloped in a cocoon of pleasant weather while transversing the inclement weather of Mudder Nature... Oh, (not so) well.
Anyway, a few more to the song list:
Rythm of the Falling Rain - Cascades
Laughter In The Rain - Neil Sedaka
Raindrops - Dee Clark
Lightning Strikes - Lou Christie
Thunder & Lightning - Chi Coltrane
Thunder and Lightning - Chicago
Green Grass - Gary Lewis & the Playboys
