About 6 months..............I flew around the world West to East. It was a done when ever I had a bit of spare time, though on some of the longer legs, it was auto pilot and checking in on it every now and then...............

Longest? Maybe like 2 hours... I generally fly smaller aircraft on shorter flights, and sometimes I just practice landings and takeoffs from the same airport.  Tongue

This... Is Rio.

Loud and talkative Bengal cat. He's not ours; his owner lives two houses down, but he wanders around the neighborhood getting food and talking to his human friends. He'll sometimes get into a fight if he meets another cat though... But it's rare because he's kicked out all other cats in the neighborhood. He thinks all the houses are his too...
I came up with the name "ilikerio" way back in 4th grade, and I've used it with most user accounts ever since.
My group of close friends and I have named ourselves The Rio Group. ilikerio Productions is the media branch, located here: http://www.youtube.com/user/ilikerio

When i was 10 years old, we moved near Ryan airport in baton rouge. back in those days kids could play in streets and not get abducted and sold to pakistan for sex trade.

i would ride my bike every weekend to the airfield and shortly after that met a bunch of confederate airforce pilots. Its since been renamed. but started washing WWll fighters and bombers. specifically a P51 and a B25 several T-6/SNJ amongst others.

just before i turned 16 i started learning to fly in a Piper Cherokee 180 N6511J. i hold ryan fields yongest to solo and fastest time. 30min atfer my hour of birth, and did it in 3 1/2 hours. record still stands today. i have nearly 470hrs pilot in command, about 60hours hovering Huges 500Ds for mechanics to adjust and verify main rotor tracking.

at age 17, while riding rear seat in a T-6, we were  practicing for a Jackson,ms airshow. while climbing on the backside of a loop, the engine blew a jug right throught the cowling. needless to say, that day we crashed. ate a bunch of dirt. didnt phase me, just kept on flying. it wasnt till a few years later Doc hit a power line killing himself and his passenger. shortly there after i developed epilepsy. so i quit out of sadness of a friend and safety.

built my first computer for FS2000
have had every Microsofts Flight Sims with current FSX which with extensive hacking and modifying of maps, airports, mesh terrain etc... and custon aircraft. Carenado being the best and most realistic. the program is now the size of 83gigs. hex core system with latest and greatest of Vid cards, and it still needs just a tad more power. all setting are on max.

with all flight sims, ive log just shy of 12,700 flight hours of total time.

longest flight in flight sim is approx 6 hours. never left the seat.
funnest was simming with a fellow pilot. me flying a SR71 with air refueling from him in his KC135. incredibly hard to go from M3.1 down to 35,000 no faster that 310 indicated and not fly past him or do a 360. makes you appreciate the qualites and dedication of those who did that for a living. took about two hours to simulate that.

Dog out.

I flew Toulouse to Guangzhou. A380. Can't remember how many hours it was. What I do remember, is landing in Guangzhou to learn that they didn't have any empty gates for my A380  Angry
