A couple weeks ago, I found my old fs9 cds. I loaded her up and I went looking for a couple good freeware ones. All I can say is WOW there are a lot of good freeware out there for fs9. I don't care bout the graphics anymore, I'm flying mostly fs9 for the planes!

Funny, I did the exact same thing last year!
Yes, the second I found a Bristol Blackburn and Martin Baker MB5 for FS9 and actually worked without problems I was hooked!

Come join Fozzer and myself sometime in the virtual skies  Wink
Just remember his Cessna 150 might LOOK slow...but she is not a normal 150... Grin

Hi!

Thanks for the post.  I agree there are many great freeware aircraft and sceneries for Fs9.  I tend to play all sims though and still like what's available for FsX to some extent.  However if you want tons of freeware I would reccommend Fs98!  I still play that sometimes.  People would build entire countries back then with terrain, hand-built mountains, all airports and then package them up with maps and info and give the countries out for free!  Some great ac around too!  Of course the graphics are nothing compared to today but I can enjoy oretty much any sim from Fs98 on.

Anyway sorry for all the info!!  Would be interested to know what you're flying in Fs9.

Many thanks,

Pierre

As Fozzer said, welcome to the world of flying for the sake of flying. We're happy to have you with us. Wink

Flying? I? All things with wings pre-1958. Propeller-head here, and damn proud of it. Cool

I agree!  Although I have FSX and FS9 on my computer, for pure enjoyment I find myself flying with FS9.  Whenever I go to FSX I become easily frustrated for a lot of reasons.  LOL   Smiley
