Was parked at Bowerman and hoping real weather would give me a good looking early morning.
Instead I got rain and low ceiling clouds.
There was a Mooney bravo doing circuits, so that meant VFR was on.
Thank you for taking a peek

Wonderful...very very nice...
One has not really flown until they have aviated and scud run a Tiger Moth, Stearman, Great Lakes or Waco (all Biplanes) in the rain...
You can not get that feeling in a closed in cockpit, staying low in the valleys, passing over beaver ponds, rivers, lakes and looking for visual aids you have passed many a time...what a rush...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Excellent shots! It appears as if you are having just as much fun flying this bird as some of us here! Alabeo did this plane real justice with the model.... simply stunning!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Indeed
Got those low ceiling clouds forcing you down and those drafts in the valley's having you have a Jerry Springer fight with the stick.
Then not even to mention working the trim like a yo-yo .
All that whilst keeping an eye over the side for some familiar landmark.
It is messy I tell you

My lands that this a beautiful airplane!
But as 'flying trucker' mentioned, flying ANY of these classic biplanes is a real treat. The YMF-5 is just the youngest, so dont forget the Tiger Moths, Stearmans, Bucker's, etc.
I feel like I was born in the wrong era lol, I want FABRIC, OPEN cockpits, WOOD, and preferably a RADIAL!
"At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation."- Igor Sikorsky
