French: boeuf bourguignon.
Cockney: beef stoo.
Don't forget to pile in the vegetables:
Carrots, Parsnips, Leeks, Onions, Garlic, Chillies, Celery, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, sliced Runner Beans, Peas, Herbs+Spices, Pearl Barley, Lentils, Beef/Chicken+Veg stock, Bisto, WINE!, suitably tenderised Mother-in Law, and lots of other things I cant quite remember at the moment...(drunk most of the wine!)...
...!
Enjoy, Mark!
Paul....Yummy...

Its a typical, old-fashioned, British Stew or Casserole, full of good things to keep the body warm and nourished on cold Winter days....
...or any other day!....
...!
A popular British Meal...that our dear-old Mum's used to make...
...and I still make, regularly!
