FS2004 Cessna C185 Skywagon 2D Panel Addition. Panel addition for Carenado's C185 Skywagon, 16:10 widescreen ratio, optimized for 1680x1050 screen resolution. Panel created by using a screen shot of the C185's VC as background bitmap and adding the parameters of the original gauges. VC and pop-ups remained unaltered. I used FSPS to add a couple of gauges to the 2D panel, and it seems to work fine. It won't affect the VC in any way, which was a surprise to me. Maybe you could use this as a template to get the panel the way you want.

The only other fsx C185 I'm aware of is the Abacus Premier Collection C185. Though the panel layout is more to your liking, the aircraft lacks the detail and models of the Carenado. You can see it or download a 7 day trial here. http://www.abacuspub.com/fsd/catalog/s582.htm

On the off chance you're not aware, in the Carenado there are a couple of ways to see things hidden by the yoke;
-hide either yoke by clicking on the 'hot spot' located in/near the yoke tube bushing.
-or open most any gauge in a pop-up by clicking the 'hot spot' on the gauge face.

I have modified the panel, replacing the 300A Navomatic with the default Bendix AP and DME in all panels. I also swapped gauge positions in the Tundra to see if it might work for you. Here's a couple of images.
