I used to like spiders until last year. I put my left shoe on and tightened up the laces and got a VERY painful bite that has left a scar on my foot. Big brown spots on my lower leg started appearing about two months later and to this day I still feel sharp pains in my foot now and again, and the potato sized brown spots on my leg are still there.
So shake your your shoes out every morning and be aware.
Be very aware! If OrbX has spiders, fly high and fast.

Spiders are revered (in a fashion) here in Italy, they say: "ragno porta guadagno"... which translated sounds more or less: "spider brings gain" (it does not rhyme in English), and it's implied it's monetary gain they're blabbering about... Roll Eyes

WHERE and WHEN this flipping idiocy has started? Don't ask me. I wasn't there to stop it with absolute prejudice. I am not scared of spiders, but I do have this irrational HATRED of them... if I see one even far away from me I can't sleep properly until I've killed it, possibly with fire (a lighter in front of a spray-can does make a good house-built flamethrower). Thought I can indulge in that only rarely. If and when the flame does not damage other things aside the spider. Cool

I used to be scared of cockroaches... but that is just another, unpleasant story.

There is no such a thing as overkill. Only unworthy targets.

You clearly never had a big spider sitting on your pillow when you went to bed. Roll Eyes

A lovely little creature!... Smiley...!
House Spiders.
I often let them walk around my hands while I have a one-sided conversation with them, and note that they are also observing me!
Fascinating, intelligent creatures....just admire the complex Webs of the Garden Spiders!

Its just the ORBX ones which are a bit dangerous...big teeth!... Grin...!

Jup,one of them was on my pillow, not as large as that one tough. Grin
Spiders seem to hate me for some reason, they always apear when I want to go to the loo or sleep. Roll Eyes

I might've told this story here already here but at school I was washing my hand after we worked with chalk outside and my eyes where closed when I bent down and I opened my eyes about 3 CM away from a house spider that decided to walk out onto the edge of the sink...
Needless to say I got a fright and the boy who put it out the window got bitten.(yes he is sorta mad Roll Eyes Grin)

I am not afraid from most spiders but the big house spiders and the also big black hairy ones we sometimes see here do give me the creeps.
Strangely enough most people in the class are afraid of all spiders, during the school play someone found a realy big daddy-long-legs,needless to say there was alot of screaming from the girls, some boys stepped away a bit but me,a girl and 2 other boys didn't care.
But oh boy I will remember the look on one of the girls faces forever. Grin (then again, she's afraid of even 1mm spiders...)
