Grin Grin Grin...Wonderful... Wink

The old girl and I are both aviators although we now fly with a current licenced aviator, usually an instructor/sometimes a family member as we both  let our medicals lapse.

It worked well for us as while one was flying the other did the good old fashioned map reading and navigation.

She also could set up a bush camp better than most city slickers... Wink

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Thank you.
I cant resist to get some humor in with pictures.

Well, when driving, my wife rely too much on the gps! If a road is blocked and the gps is telling her to get back to that road, she can do that 2-3 times!!
(She aint seing this, she is making dinner today Roll Eyes Wink

Great shots, Bass Smiley

Did you know that the wingtip floats on the Grumman Goose extend down to improve stability? Wink

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.

Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
