As some of you may know I'm back in Hungary for a couple of weeks and loving it. Glorious weather. Wonderful food. The vegetable garden at the house is magnificent (I've got tomatoes bigger than cricket balls!). Lots of fine wine from the in-laws vineyard.
Today I decided to contact my inner child. The little ones and myself got heavily tooled up.... with water pistols. What a fun way to spend an afternoon dodging around the garden soaking each other.
I'd forgotten how much fun the silly things in life can be

My dad is currently experiencing that! My parents have a pool too, so even more ways for my niece to soak him, with a little encouragement from her aunt and uncle

Well we've had a lovely day at the swimming pool. Now we're playing with RC cars. Nobody has safe toes....

I have a 1/5 scale RC monster truck with a 35cc chain saw engine in it and 4 wheel drive. It weighs in at 15kg. Toes are the least of my problems. A while back I was driving around the the garden with it, and started to give it a bit of speed. I was doing rather well...............right up to the point that I ran out of talent and hit the washing line. The truck bounce off without a dent. The washing line however was now leaning over at 45° and the fresh washing that Mrs-Expat has just hung out to dry was now scattered about a bit or dangling from said line gently scraping the grass/dirt. To say she was slightly pissed was a minor understatement. It also did not help when I said it was no biggy, not like she had spent all day ironing it or such, only having shoved it in the washing machine, tuned it of and sat back down again...................Sometimes, us men should just say "yes", "no" or "you are quite right my love"......

Dang! How big
are
the crickets on your side of the pond?
The ones in my yard are pretty little.
I love the smell of radials in the morning!

The crickets down here in Georgia are small too, but you should see the size of their, er, tomatoes.
