Did you read the readme file!
As far as i can see, you only need to backup the panel.cfg in f-18 and not the ac.
Open dl'd sound folder and paste it into fsx sound, do the same with gauges, then replace dl'd panel.cfg with the one you backed up.
I did the download but not tried it yet, and remember it only works in vc.

Why, yes, I did read the readme.

One thing I noticed is that all the setting numbers for the vibration mod are zeros, which makes me wonder if that is correct or not.

Thats just how your cockpit shows to effects installed. Its not a gauges showing on your screen!
It is correct.

Yes, just installed it and it works.
Remember to put the folder DM_GforceVib inside sound.
Take a lift off in the plane, get on high speed and make a turn to get som G-effects.
