Hello all! It's been quite a long time since the last time I came here.

I've been thinking about changing my computer, but i wouldn't know if the GPU part would be at least equal to what I have now.

Right now I'm using a Zotac Nettop, with a CULV processor (SU2300 dual core  @ 1.2 Ghz, Oc'd to 1.4), 4G of DDR3 RAM and a Nvdia ION gpu.  Yes, yes, I know it's slow,  not high tech and everything, but it suits my purposes just fine as a HTPC and I can run FS9 maxed all the way, with real world traffic at a constant 26fps,AND FSX with no traffic at all, graphics in mid/low at about 25fps (with the cpu being the main bottleneck).

So, about a week ago, I stumbled upon another zotac, this one featuring the core i3-2330m CPU, 8GB DDR3 and it has the INtel HD3000 gpu. I know that the CPU will blow apart what I currently have, but I still have my doubts about the GPU part.

Practically every benchmark I see tells me that the HD3000 is faster/better than the ION GPU, but having never experienced any other intel GPU apart from the horrible GMA950 and X3100, i'm a bit afraid, specially since those fps I mentioned earlier are attained with a bit of tweaking in the nVidia control panel (mainly with the AA, 4x for FS9 and 2x for FSX.... could that be done with an INtel GPU?)

Because of space limitations and other issues that don't belong here, considering a different computer  with different components is practically out of the field.

So, guys, what do you think? Should I give it a try? Money is a REAL issue now, another reason why I'm looking at this zotac pc....
