I'm thinking about getting another lens for my SLR... a 35mm prime.

What i have already
K mount native
18-55mm F3.5-5.6 kit zoom.
50-200mm F4-5.6

What's in the catalogue
A 419 euro Macro capable 35mm 'Limited' F2.4
A 169 euro 'DAL' 35mm F2.8

The question is not which one (thats already decided) but does it add something that i don't have with the current lenses?

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

Would this be for a Canon slr? If so did you consider the 50mm f/1.8? I have this lens and it is fantastic! It is also an inexpensive lens and one in which many photographers use.

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

It's K mount (pentax/sony) and 35mm, so that's not an option (although it is an awesome lens Tongue)

I'd say look at what you want to do with the 35mm....If it's for landscapes and still shots, consider buying an old MF lens. You can pick them up for peanuts and the IQ is normally hugely better than all but the most expensive AF lenses. All you have to do is make sure it can be adapted for K mount and focus and set the aperture manually Smiley

Of course, if the IQ of the 35mm prime is not noticeably better than the 18-55 at 35mm then there's no point in having it Smiley
