Last year was such a nasty year, so many died at airshows.

Very sad indeed. Sadly the Humming Bird has a history of fairly serious incidents, although none for many decades.

Sadly a very talented aviator has been lost - he was briefly chief pilot of the collection a couple of years ago. RIP

It was a trip with my dad to Old Warden that originally ignited my interest in aviation!

Former Shuttleworth Chief Pilot,  Ex Oxford University and Oxford UAS, RAF Tornado Gr1. Flew in Gulf War 1 (as readers of the book Voices in the Air will know).  Qualified as a Test Pilot at Empire Test Pilots School followed by a spell with the Fast Jet Test Sqn. Then flew Boeing 767/777s  for British Airways.
