7WA3 West Wind released yesterday on their forums. What a great area!! Here are some shots with more to follow.
Getting ready to start her up and go exploring.
Not much room to get off the ground.
That was close.
Don't mind me farmer Bob, CAP just doing some patrolling.
Part 2 incoming...Thanks for looking

The plane is Aerosoft's OV-10 Bronco with a repaint I found on OZx. It's a fantastic bird, but it's not freeware like the scenery.

He he.......just missed those lines
I've never used ORBX stuff before so I thought I'd give it a go on my low end PC. I say "Low end", perhaps it's better to describe it as old...... Single athlon 3000+ cpu with a nvidia 7300gt 256 graphics card, 3 gig ram.
I didn't hold out much hope
Pleasantly surprised though, I installed the freebie and had a go.........18-20 fps quite smooth and worthwhile. I did notice that the extra eye candy wasn't present, no tufts of grass, people cars etc.
It transpires that the FTXA_ORBXLIB (Library) file is needed also, a separate download . This is downloadable from ORBX patch webpage. (probably common knowledge to everyone except me
)
With that installed this scenery looks the mutts nuts
. Getting between 15 and 20 FPS and quite smooth, so even on an old machine it runs reasonably well.......So thanks for the heads up mfaulisi.

Awesome shots, Mfaulisi
Thanks for the heads up.......I lived in nearby Bellingham and worked out of Ferndale before I moved to Omak, so I'm very familiar with the area that this airport is in. OrbX did a pretty good job
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
