What is going on with my FSX? I've NEVER seen this before. Only things I have recently installed are REX and the Iris Raptor.

Maybe it's all the stuff you have on there that's messing up the screen resolution...

I wouldn't see how, I only have my two Carenado planes, Iris Raptor and REX as add ons for the game, and yesterday it worked fine, I haven't touched the resolution on my screen...and I don't think I have touched it if there is an in-game setting for it. Let's see if taking the Raptor out will fix anything.

Make a backup copy of your FSX.cfg. or simply rename it, then restart FSX.

Okay, I have two things.
Second, I think it may be a thing of window size, kind of like you can do in the 2-D cockpit.  Try clicking on the bottom right hand corner of the image that looks like the regular sim, and drag it to the bottom right hand corner of your screen.

If that doesn't help, can you please cut off that whole black bottom part of the image and post a much higher quality image?  That image is WAAAYYY too low quality to read anything or make out too much.

That is a know problem caused by the Iris Raptor.  I think it was fixed with the 1.1 Hotfix, but I can't say for certain since I don't own the Raptor.

It's not low quality, that is what it looks like for me as I play the game, the wording is half fading away, so it gets blurred like that.

Ok, I will give the hotfix a try, I'm leaning on it being caused by the Raptor, so hopefully it will help.

EDIT: I installed that fix, and it seemed to have worked! I can finally fly the jet. Thanks.
