For part 1
So, after they showed us the hanger, they took us on the flight line.

Excellent Photographs!
It has taken my curiosity, (as always!), so I have taken my Fairchild C123 "Air America" for a tour of the area:
Mountain Home AFB (KMUO).
A valley bordered by mountains, with some interesting water-ways running through it.
(It will make a change from California for a while!)....

P.S...I had a peek at KBOI, but it looked like a Civilian Airport, rather than a Military establishment..

Thanks! Uh, FS9, and FSX did a very bad job of Boise, I'm running Addon that put the base on. Gowen field is the right part of the Field. If your running FS9, then here's a good file. I ran it when I used FS9:

It's really accurate to Boise itself, it really wish some one ca convert it to FSX! Also go up to the mountains, I can't remember what they look like, buts it's still going to be good. PS... Us a bush plane

Installed the Boise Scenery..worked a treat in my FS 2004!
I'll certainly spend a few days exploring the area in my trusty Cessna 150 Aerobat, using the Plan-G, Google "Radar Satellite Map", for terrain detail.
The scenery looks marvellous with my; "Ultimate Terrain USA+Canada" scenery! Extremely accurate!
Idaho..... Here I come!...

That cannon, fitted in the rear of my Cessna 150, would do wonders for its forward propulsion!...
