My next flight brought the bare-nekkid C-47 out of the hangar.
Anybody who's seen some of my other paints has probably figured out that I'm a sucker for polished aluminum, and I'm always working to perfect the look to my satisfaction.
I smile at myself when I compare my earliest efforts with my latest attempts. Incremental improvements.
It's not fundamentally difficult, but it's difficult to do well. I'm not yet there, but I think I'm getting ever closer.
I'm getting to the point where the reflection is good enough to shave in.
