I just might waste the whole afternoon here.

Soccer is absurdly slow. I've had soccer apologists say with false pride how the average soccer participant "runs" 4 miles in a game. Newsflash: that means they are jogging less than 3 miles per hour. Translation: they are mostly standing around.
Penalty kicks. You are determining a winner by a random event that has no relevance to the rest of the game. It would be as stupid as replacing extra innings with batting practice.
The correct term for 0 is zero, not nil. Take a math class.
France is successful at participating at soccer. That should say something, especially to the British.
The "World" Cup is not the a World's Cup, but a competition among 32 countries, disproportionately allotted to European countries. (Although in fairness, the World Series is played among teams from two countries)
A bad day at golf is better than a good day at work.

Having served football teams breakfast/lunch/dinner (ranging from Stoke up to Liverpool) I can confidently say: They really do suck!

How is football (Yes because you play it only with your feet exclusively, not with both your hands) boring? Yesterday I was shaking for 90 minutes over Portugal-Germany! When the game ended I felt like I ran for miles! And I'm not a big fan of football!
Well, if this is so, I can also say that baseball is boring as heck!
Oh and lets not forget the only left-hand turns races of NASCAR...
Up is the way to go.

Soccer is boring compared to other sports and variations, soccer is essentialy just running and try and keep the ball away from the others, sports like gealic football involve tons of other things;for example:
You can kick up the ball into your hand or catch BUT,you can't hold the ball for more then 4 steps, otherwise you have to bounce it,throw it up and catch it or solo it while running in turn,so you can't solo twice in a row.
Another thing is passing;in soccer you can only kick it so its hard for other to intercept it because they can't catch the ball,in gealic football you need to either kick it or do a handpass, throws are not allowed.
Hurling is even more complicated, and it has big hard sticks(did I just say that?) that can hurt you.

You may have run for miles, but the Portugese were skipping, tripping and sliding over invisible objects for 90 minutes

Math being an abreviation for mathematic. I say math, you say maths, your abreviating the plural form. Mathematics.

Soccer is for people who would lose a battle of wits with a glass of water!
The average footballer is a single digit IQ'd thickie paid stupid amounts of money to kick a piece of re-processed cow up and down a field!
As you can tell I'm not a fan... and I'm sick of all the talk of it at work already
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

You do know Mark that Soccer Players are like Einstein compared to NZ Rugby players.
Rugby players can't even talk properly because they hit their heads to many times playing that stupid game.

First one is hilarious and true.
Aside from the maths and nil debates, the last point isn't true either. The world cup has qualifying rounds that involve a lot more countries. Certainly more than the World Series of baseball.....

Soccer sucks? At least there's some action, occasional excitement, and a few other features every now and again....like awesome riots!!!
On the contrary....I had near incurable insomnia a few years back, and it still haunts me from time to time, til I finally found a cure!
GOLF! If any sport, and I use the term losely 'cause aren't sports s'posed to get an athlete in shape somewhat, garners the off-the-chart suck factor it is hands down gotta be golf.
On TV they at least try to make interesting, but in person it ranks right up there with bass fishing on the OMG-this-is-cool scale.
And I must have missed something humorous somewhere in the OP. Comments about men fellating each other just does not rate too high on my humor scale.
Maybe I missed somethin' though.

And bass fishing...

Seabass for sure! Bigger boats, bigger quarry, extreme conditions (open water as compared to lake), etc.
But it all boils down to what's your passion and I don't begrudge anyone their faves.
Me. I am perfectly in my comfort zone a few weekends a year stepping outta my RV at sunrise, on a Saturday morn, in the infield, knowing that I get to hang out with about 100,000 of my closest friends and 43 screaming racecars!

I don't mind Rugby or Sport in general until it interferes with the News.
I don't mind if they put Rugby in the Sports Section of the News, but when they put it on less than quarter of an hour into a 60 Minute News program then I don't like it.
What’s even worse is they seem to find the stupidest, most concussed Rugby Players to act as Sport commentators.

Exercise; is something I occasionally have to do if I run out of milk, and I have to get some more from the local shop.
(The very thought of RUNNING out of milk leaves me breathless!)
.
Sport; is something I can completely ignore, with no difficulty whatsoever.
(My organised escape flights to the Constellation of Alpha Centauri, for the duration of the forthcoming Olympic Games, is proving very popular at the moment).

Yes, but the players and, especially, some of the fans are in their own little world(s)...

a sport I would care to watch, no offense to your Foz. I am sure you're quite striking but definitely not my type. As it is, I just got back from seeing the Atlanta Braves baseball game against the Baltimore Orioles. Seriously though, watching on TV and watching at the venue are two totally different things. Hate TV, love the venues!
Go Braves!!
