An Alaskan bush pilot (lets call him Chuck for the purposes of this story) drops off a pair of hunters with explicit directions stating that he would be back in seven days and there would only be enough capacity for one moose to come back on the aircraft.
When the pilot arrives to pick up the duo he finds them proudly standing over not one, but two moose kills. Chuck begins to tell the men that he hasn't got the capacity to carry both moose back with them, but one of the men interrupts him and says "The pilot last year had no problem with carrying out two moose" and suggested that Chuck was a chicken. Not wanting to be upstaged by another bush pilot, he decides to go for it.
With a moose strapped to each float Chuck powers up his aircraft, gets up on plane, begins to lift off of the water, and abruptly runs out of space to take off, resulting in a crash that knocks all three men unconscious. When they awake, the two hunters look at eachother and one asks "where are we?" to which his partner replied "About a hundred yards further than last year"

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
