I often fire up my trusty FS 2004 and head for special places that I have visited in the past, many times, many years ago, and find that they no longer look the same, from my memory...

The magical little hills and valleys that I used to fly around at low level in default FS 2002 and default FS 2004, are not there any more....

Why?.... Shocked....

Because of all the fancy new scenery objects, textures, mesh , etc, that I have added over the intervening years!... Shocked...!

Its like visiting the area of my childhood, and being disappointed that it is no longer there, swallowed up by other things!... Cry...!

Do you ever notice the difference in certain familiar scenery spots, between your first outing in your brand-new, default flight sim, and what you see now with all your fancy add-ons... Wink...!

I spend ages looking for scenic memories from my FS 2002 and FS 2004 past which now look totally different, and often cause me to get lost!

...any one else?... Wink...!

Paul...now...where am I?.. Grin...!

Only after installing a new mesh for the place. Yes, I do sometimes. Cheesy

If it makes you feel better, I have a near-photographic memory for places and faces, but almost no memory at all for names. One of these days I will forget my own name, you'll see. Grin

Some times I get lost in my 1 bedroom apt. Just got home from the Pub. Won $100 on the shake 'o the day, so much for 2 pints & walking home. Great day, hope every one had the same. Oh, when I add Land Class, I always put it below My special stuff. I'd love to buy you one, but you are a ways away. So raise one for me & smile, I'm there with you.
