"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Great shots Chuck.
Any particular reason to land a C-130 on a Nimitz?

Not any particularly

reason........but then again, is there any particular reason not to?

Well done Chuck...
Several years ago I got to land a Herc "C130" Simulator on an aircraft carrier.
Don't think that didn't move you in your seat, there were three of us in the Simulator along with one of our son's the Instructor (dam show off)...
.
On an instrument approach to a land base I had everything hunky dory when the little bugger shut off the instrument lights...
When I asked for a flashlight he said..."But dad...you always told us to be like Boy Scouts and alway always Be Prepared"...Kids....
Again well done Chuck...
P.S. and I had to buy the beer in the mess also Chuck...
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Cool video.
I can see why you wanted to try.
I forgot to ask, what aircraft is that in #4?
