I thought I had till a friend sent me these pictures of what one of his colleagues did to dry out a laptop after spilling water in it...
Yup, dried it in his oven
Just when you think you've seen it all an idiot comes up with a whole new way to destroy valuable equipment!
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

I can just imagine the conversation:
"Yeah my new laptop broke. Can you fix it?"
"Broke?"
"Yeah broke, ya know..."
"YOU DID WHAT?!"
I love how they expect a technician to be able to do anything with that

We say that about most of the hard hit wrecks I take in at my body shop
On a side note. A buddy of mine got water in his laptop. He brought it to my bodyshop and i put it in a paint booth with a car that just got a fresh coat and was about to bake for 45 mins. Worked like a champ after that

There was a news report long ago that a woman did that to dry off her small dog; needless to say, she never had to worry about the wet dog smell again.
