Greetings fellow screenshot fans!
Following my very recent upgrade to Win 7 64 bit and full re-install of everything (again!)
i thought id add this wonderful aircraft to my collection having seen it on here numerous times. Its beautifully done and seems fun to fly - although i noted an alarming oops moment when retracting the wheels soon after take off
Maybe leave it a little longer next time.
Cruising around was simple and the landing...well, id already gone round once after coming in a little fast and the second was still a little quick and as i bounced down the runway i realised that perhaps ending up in the trees wasnt quite the outcome i wanted....
However she slewed about all over till i finaly brought her to a stop and success! Check it :-
A few specs of my set up for you to ponder also - iMac i5 Intel Quad Core 2400s @ 2.50GHz running Win7 64bit via bootcamp - 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 - 500GB H/D (with external 1.5TB H/D that i added!) - AMD Radeon 6750M
Many thanks for looking, C+C welcome

Hello Horse!
Wonderful shots of one of my favourite Birds!...
...!
Have you managed to get your new set-up, using Bootcamp Windows 7 on the iMac, to run FSX.....
S-M-O-O-T-H-L-Y
?
...as in
SMOOTHLY
...(no shuddering!)...
...!
My FSX is reasonably smooth, providing that I don't look out of the side windows during flight!...

Hello!
Yes indeed, under 32Bit it was struggling, which i couldnt really fathom, until a eureka type moment when reading one of flying truckers posts recently.....
Now however its like my fs2004 set up was on my old mac, full on - slight stutter under real heavy scenery such as airports with lots of traffic, but still flyable. Default scenery - its very smooth, and ive yet to tweak anything really other than set windows up properly, thats all ive done.
If i knock the sliders back just a touch, i bet i could have a real smooth and fast setup but i do like the eye candy side of things also
I think theres more to come, theres a few things ive to do but getting it installed and running nicely was my first goal.
The Orbx scenery i cant decide wether i like it or not, Orbx i note seem very clever in the shots they post online and in the PDF 'manual', the gushing praise they get on there own site - as with all similar sites - its often difficult to be objective with it! - sometimes i think it looks rather....lame in the actual sim. The bit i have appears ok from most angles but theres a few parts as you climb out and so on that just dont seem to 'fit' with the rest
From altitude yes its very nice.
Good bits mixed with seemingly default things that just dont look quite right... Maybe im missing somthing! In some areas its quite brilliant however...
But as a test on my system and its fly-ability im impressed very much with how it looks and flys.

Fantastic shots, Todayshorse
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"
