It's a cloudy day...

...

But in an airplane, you can get above!

...

Unfortunately, while takeoffs are optional, landings are mandatory.  Even in a Mustang, you have to come back to Earth eventually

...

What's YOUR favorite thing about flying?

...avoiding angry-looking clouds!... Shocked...!

Clouds have two reasons to exist:

(1) Produce rain.
(2) Kill Pilots.

Nice Shots! interesting angle you got on the 1st one.

By the way, in a solar or spacecraft, landings aren't necessarily mandatory. Wink

While on a recent flight there was a problem with one of the engines.  The pilot came on the intercom and told us all that he had to shut down the problem engine, but not to worry, we were able to fly safely without it but we were gonna be delayed reaching our destination by ninety or so minutes.

A little while later there was a problem with another engine.  Not to worry the pilot announced, we were still able to safely stay airborne with two of the four engines out, but it was gonna delay us even further.

I overheard a lady in a seat behind me say to her seatmate, "Lordy! If anything goes wrong with another engine we may be stuck up here all day!"

I love the smell of radials in the morning!

Unfortunately I only recommend if you have a powerful computer.  It's an excellent model, amazing simulation but very demanding.  It runs well on mine but I also don't have any traffic on.  Just make sure you exceed Flight's recommended specs before you buy it.

Thanks for the comments guys Wink

Well actually...

If you can get your plane up to 6.5 to 8.2 km/s you can make your plane go into an orbit around the earth.... Roll Eyes
