Good afternoon all...
Still trying to figure this REX2 and ORBX out.
I do not see many Seaplane/Floatplane Bases in Alaska with ORBX which is disappointing but I am sure they will amend...
FSX and Windows 7
ORBX
REX2
Carenado Cessna 172 on floats
Location: Alaska
Season: Summer and midmorning...
Trying out some different settings and left the FRAPs on to see what rates I was getting...
Comments and advice most welcome...

Awesome shots! There are so many combinations with REX it's mind boggling
REX Essential should be amazing, I'm not sure if you've seen that in the forums over there.

Wow, Doug........impressive FPS. You got yourself a nice rig there
"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered wings. Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun split clouds.....and done a hundred things you have never dreamed of.....wheeled and soared and swung high in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delerious, burning blue I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace where never Lark, nor even Eagle flew. While with silent lifting of mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of god"

Goodly morning all...
I am wondering if there is a patch for this aircraft?
It does not seem to land on the water as nice as the Cessna 185 or Beaver and it tends to wander off to the left all the time.

This is REX2.
Not sure about REX Essential as I thought REX2 was the latest edition.
REX2 is the latest, but they're working on a HUGE update for all of us REX2 customers. It'll be called REX Essential and have a completely new weather engine among tons of other updated features. Take a look at their forums it looks amazing.

I'm curious about this REX thingy for FSX...
...
I have REX for FS 2004, and very nice it is, regarding the weather, and some water and airport textures; and I use VOZ 1.8 (FS 2004) for its assortment of ground textures/colours around the world....and Ultimate Terrain USA for realistic ground mapping (USA).
But as someone who is more concerned with the Autogen scenery ground textures around me, (rather than superb weather (clouds) and water), would REX for FSX be of any benefit to me?
I would like to improve the Default scenery ground texture/colours around the world, and as VOZ (1.8) (covering the whole world), is no longer produced for FSX, which would be the best; REX or ORBX for ground scenery?
Paul...trying out FSX (after FS 2004)...
...!
P.S...I have the free Demo of ORBX (PNW) Pacific North West for FSX, which is very nice for Autogen, etc, but it only covers part of Washington/Oregon State.
